A Nigerian man studying at the University of Canberra has appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court after purportedly being caught with $10 million worth of the drug ice in his possession in Canberra.
Jackson Igwebuike was charged with attempting to possess 10 kilograms of methamphetamine worth $10 million. He is currently in Australia on a student visa.
ABC News reports that police believe the drugs were illegally imported from China. The 32-year-old was arrested while attempting to board a bus that was going to Sydney on Saturday.
